n exceptional opportunity has arisen within AoC Sport as we recruit for a Sport Development Officer to work in the midlands and south west regions. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced sports development professional to join our sport development team. In this role you will be working collaboratively to develop the sport and physical activity opportunities to students in colleges at all levels, focusing on sustaining participation in sport and organising and supporting our competition pathway. With responsibility for the delivery of a range of events, including Regional Tournaments, and to shape our approach to sport development projects, this role must provide an outstanding level of service to our member colleges and external partners. This is an exciting time to join our team as we plan to meet the challenges of the Government and Sport England strategies as well as our own recently published strategic framework.
To be successful in this role you must be able to work with a wide range of partners to achieve shared outcomes, be equally happy to work collaboratively within a team and independently, be proactive in building partnerships and able to make decisions quickly. Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: The role will require travel to member colleges, sports competitions and other meetings on a regular basis in the region.
