Roles & Accountabilities

  • Coordinating the movement of people, products and equipment as needed
  • Maintaining responsibility for the Procurement schedule using Google Calendar
  • Tracking the progress of procurement tasks within G-Sheets and our company app
  • Collaborating with Operations Directors and Project Managers to determine yearly Procurement goals and objectives
  • Ensuring Procurement goals are being met
  • Delighting our customers with prompt attention to their requests
  • Assisting with creating and quantifying Procurement team innovations
  • Assisting with developing and continuously improving Procurement standard operating procedures
  • Developing, continuously improving and completing work in accordance with Company-wide and position-specific standard operating procedures
  • Coordinating critical trucking paths for incoming shipments
  • Site visits on an as-needed basis
  • Composing, reaching out to on a regular basis, and tracking vendors and their shipments for timely deliveries and quality pricing

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred, but candidates with confirmed experience in this field will also be considered

Required Competencies

  • Creating and issuing Purchase Orders in close coordination with Project Managers, within our company app
  • Updating Company product databases with up to date Product information
  • Tracking product shipments, including carriers, tracking numbers, receipt locations and damage
  • Coordinating product returns
  • Arranging people travel logistics, including airfare, rental cars, lodging and other Company staff related coordination
  • Working closely with Finance Division and Project Managers to insure that people, product and equipment logistic costs are within budget
  • Working closely with Project Managers to arrange for the ordering, delivery, service and pick-up of Company-owned and rental equipment
  • Google workspace competency
  • Overseeing inventory of goods and vehicles
  • Reviewing freight costs, transportation rates and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
  • Streamlining shipping and transportation processes
