Measurement Sciences Inc. (MSI) is a geomatics firm based out of Calgary, Alberta. At MSI, we are involved in multiple specialty geomatics projects utilizing high end technology to deliver unrivaled products to our clients. Some projects include mapping rivers throughout Alberta and British Columbia, deformation monitoring of geotechnical hazards and utilizing drones to collect high resolution imagery and dense lidar point clouds.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with our team of professionals on GNSS processing, LiDAR processing, bathymetric processing and other various geomatics based tasks
- Contribute to the growth and development of existing processes to determine changes that can increase efficiencies in the field and office
- Perform other related duties as assigned by team members
- Limited field time is a possibility to support local field crews
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained a degree / diploma in Geomatics or equivalent combinations of education and experience. The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum two years experience in the Geomatics industry, field experience is an asset
- Proficiency in the use of programs such as Global Mapper, Cloud Compare, Hypack, TerraSolid, LGO is an asset
- Working knowledge of GPS, LiDAR and Bathymetric data collection

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
