- Understand AIR's time and expense policy and federal regulations; apply those principles to expense auditing.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to enhance adherence to applicable policy and federal regulations.
- Audit high volume of expense reports.
- Assist in creating training materials and guides to help employees better understand policy requirements.
- Identify and help troubleshoot technical issues with Costpoint Administrator.
- Participate in special projects, process customization, T&E enhancements, and implementations.
- Provide excellent and responsive customer service to internal clients.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time based on institutional needs.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics or High School diploma and a minimum of 2 years commensurate experience.
- Experience and understanding of expense report policies and procedures and the end-to-end process reimbursement process.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) preferred but not required.
- Experience processing expense reports for international travel highly desirable but not rquired.
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint preferred but not required.

Disclosures:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

AIR’s Total Rewards Program, is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $27-31 per hour. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
