About the role:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to take on the important role of process Technician, At our Water Production Business in the Thames valley area.

As the Process Technician, you will be working alongside a multiskilled team who are passionate about delivering results and great service for our customers.

You will receive full training in health & safety, water quality and asset water-related processes. You will join a close-knit team and gain invaluable experience from the wider team who will ensure you feel supported throughout your training and beyond.

Due to the nature of this role, you can be based at our Reading, Guildford Oxford, or Newbury WTW sites depending on your location.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on assets and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve resilience.
  • Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on-site operational and health and safety standards are maintained
  • Attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure
  • Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks
  • Always working safely and complying with all Health and Safety guidance and procedures.

What skills are required for this role?

  • Have previous operative experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Computer data input /enquiry experience is desirable however not essential
  • The ability to operate modern technology as work will be scheduled through this system
  • Be a team player, who is passionate about your personal development
  • Keen to learn a new industry and embark on a rewarding training programme
  • Health and safety focused
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Be hands-on and relish the outdoor life
