Process & Project Engineer – Ashington – Up to £40,000
Northumberland
We are excited to be working with a leading, global pharmaceutical manufacturer who provide critical care products in over 15 countries in their search for a Process & Project Engineer.
You will be responsible for the identification, scoping, development and execution of key capital projects to drive improvements within manufacturing. The role is also responsible for coordinating the implementation of the process risk assessment programme within the department.

Job Description of a Process & Project Engineer
· Develop knowledge and experience in the engineering aspects of the API manufacturing processes.
· Identification, scope development and execution support for key strategic capital project improvements.
· Identification, scope development and execution support of operational excellence projects to support the efficient operation of the API manufacturing department.
· Co-ordinate the development and justification of prioritised investment for the API Manufacturing Department.
· Support the investigation, root cause analysis and development for quality and safety deviations in the department.
· Provide engineering subject matter expert input to quality audits.
Skills & experience of a Process & Project Engineer
· Bachelor’s degree gained in Chemical or Medical related degree.
· Previous experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biomedical manufacturing.
· Formal Project Management qualification or training would be desirable.
· Experience of leading projects.
· Solid and demonstrable understanding of key API manufacturing processes.
