Job Description
The role of the process operator is to control and operate basic plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to defined quality specification. Will report and investigate deviations from normal operating conditions and be able to deal with basic process upsets.
This job does have physical elements including manual handling to load the machines with material for recycling.
Required to work continental shift pattern - day and night shifts.
Dayshift 7am to 7pm; and Nightshift 7pm to 7am
Average working week is 42 hours.
Required to wear personal protective equipment including toe capped boots, gloves, ear defenders and safety glasses within the factory at all times (provided by employer).
Applicants should

* be able to work in a team and on your own
* be fully aware of health and safety issues
* probationary period of a minimum of 3 months
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
