Production Operative opportunities available
We have a number of Production Operative vacancies available across our Woven Fabrics, Knitting and Finishing departments and we welcome applications from anyone who would like to play a pivotal role in our fabric production and treatment processes.
Our Operatives are responsible for operating our impressive machinery to using powered manual handling equipment to quality inspection using your keen eye for detail.
Full training is provided for all of our Operative roles to help you grow and develop your expertise.
What we would like you to demonstrate in your application:
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential).
- An understanding of Health and Safety principles within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of using a PC for entering data.
- Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative at times.
- Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative.
We have a number of shift patterns available:
- 2 Shift: Week 1- 6am, 2pm Week 2 - 2pm, 10pm
- 3 Shift, 10 shifts over 21 days (Days and Nights)
- 3 Shift + , 11 shifts over 21 days (Days and Nights)
- 4 Shift, 14 shifts over 28 days (Days and Nights)
