Process Engineer - Recycling and Sorting
Salary: £40k - £45k plus company car / car allowance, bonus and Company benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week - 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Location: London / South East based with the option to work remotely from home.

You will be joining their team who is responsible for the performance improvement and optimisation of their sorting and recycling assets in the UK and for developing the design and the business cases for new assets.
What will you be doing?
- Form a complete understanding of the sorting and recycling plants' performance at all times
- Identify saving initiatives and prepare the feasibility studies for continuous improvement and optimisation projects for the sorting and recycling assets and present them to manager and operation for approval.
- Carryout waste flow modelling for sorting and recycling plants.
- Recommend optimum equipment setting (optimising equipment performance) by conducting the necessary on-site sampling and testing of plant efficiency.
- Lead on the technical designs of new recycling facilities, including concept technical solution development, costing, performance guarantees from suppliers by interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare concept Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and mass balance models for recycling plants.
- Write and deliver high quality reports and presentations.
- Support the business development and acquisition teams with due diligence and technical assumptions in financial models.
What are we looking for?
- Engineering background (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Electrical)
- Good project planning, development and management skills
- Ability to write reports and manipulate data to produce complex reports.
- Business cases development & preparation
- Relevant experience in sorting and recycling process or similar industry (i.e. aggregates processing)
