Role – Senior / Process Engineer

Type – Permanent

Location – Hampshire

Salary - Dependent on experience (please advise what you're looking for)

My client designs engineering equipment and machinery, and they are looking to take on a Process Engineer on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.

The Senior / Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Degree / HNC/ HND qualified in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy or Materials or a similar technical subject
• 3 years’ or more of industry experience working as a Chemical or Process Engineer
• Have the ability to write technical and compliance reports
• Good project management skills to transfer
• Experience of working within the energy, power plant, processing or oil & gas sector
• Good organisational skills are required and good time management too
• The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
• Be self-motivated

The Senior / Process Engineer role will involve:

• Being involved in Chemical and Process Engineering tasks
• Project Management
• Process and Equipment design – P&ID’s and PFDs
• Plant monitoring and performance assessment
• Auditing internal quality procedures
• Preparing technical reports
• Being involved in HAZOP studies and Risk Assessments as required
• Working on a range of projects at any one time
• Working closely with other engineering colleagues
