What You’ll Do

Contribute to the safe design, operation, optimization and improvement of production plants by providing broad and in-depth engineering expertise, acting as troubleshooter, and executing feasibility studies and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure highest safety standards and compliance with DSM and PSM requirements for the area
• Lead investigations of deviations, complaints, and concerns; provide effective corrective solutions
• Manage change control in a regulated environment; review and approve process changes
• Support integration and scale-up of new processes, changes, and project implementation
• Collaborate with project engineering on expansion, capital, or improvement projects
• Create technical reports and participate in root cause analysis as needed

You bring

• Bachelors in relevant engineering or equivalent scientific field (e.g., ChE, Bio Systems, Microbiology) OR 7 years of technical experience in food and beverage or chemical manufacturing
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the chemical and/or biotech processing industry
• Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages associated with engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and project implementation
• Strong communication, technical writing, interpersonal, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
