Rate: £29.50 ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £22.47 ph PAYE

Job Description:
The candidate will support the CME Team to plan, develop and implement all written Processes, Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures for New Model Introduction and Model Year Changes. Generate Build Process Strategies for Manufacturing. Co-ordinate Process Tooling Supplier Selection and Vendor Management.
Candidate will provide feasibility of all designs to suit Manufacturing Build Requirements, Design for Assembly (DFA) and Alignment to Bill of Process (BOP). Ensure that team achieves process capability of all processes and equipment, including Dimensional Management Applications. Ensure application of Lean Manufacturing and Design Principles. Drive Quality Planning and Analysis for Assembly.
Candidate will have involvement in allocating the work through the development and monitoring of the team's objectives. Ensure team adherence to LQOS & MQOS deliverables. Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate. Represent CME at Program Meetings at all levels and present where applicable. Undertake any other work as directed by their Line Manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time-to-time. Co-ordinate the development and submission of departmental responses to product letters, PACNS etc.
The candidate will ensure the Team Support and lead virtual build events, raising and managing issues where appropriate. Co-ordinate the support Physical Builds at Assembly Plant locations, raising and managing issues where appropriate. Undertake any other work as directed by their Line Manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

Skills Required:
- Manufacturing Process experience.
- Able to understand procedural requirements to Manufacture Assembly Components.
- Ability to develop and implement Quality and Cost Saving Improvements.
- Time served apprenticeship or degree qualified.
- Relevant previous experience of Manufacturing or Engineering Processes, Tools and Techniques.
- Knowledge of and involvement in product launches.
- Knowledge of and involvement in the Product Development Phase Project Management.
