Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is seeking a Process Engineer for its tire manufacturing facility located in Warren County, TN. You will support the Tech Services team in designing, developing, and implementing new or revised processes. Work with production departments to conduct continuous improvement and automation activities in the plant.

The Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations plant in Warren County, Tennessee produces truck and bus radial tires, including premium steer and wide base. The nearly 2 million square-foot facility employs more than 1,100 teammates as Operating Technicians, Safety and Health Managers, Quality Assurance, Engineers and Production Analysts.

• Works on process problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals

• Designs equipment and processes to ensure most efficient and productive operations.

• Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for preparing materials and operating equipment

• Determines process design by balancing process cost, yield, and material waste considerations.

• Conducts tests throughout all stages of processing to determine control over applicable variables and prevents/solves process problems

• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
