SUMMARY:
Andersen is seeking a Value Stream Managers at our Dubuque, Iowa location. The purpose of this position is to lead, manage, and deliver overall business results while driving process of continuous improvement through the entire operations team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced strategic thinking individual who possesses confidence, initiative, and drive. The individual will need to possess the ability to develop and lead a high-performance team with high levels of employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee daily operation of the receiving, manufacturing and shipping processes ensuring objectives are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
* Drive strong and consistent results in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, cost and associate development for all areas of responsibility.
* Ensure alignment of activities and resources within the value stream and functional areas. Ensure cross-organization collaboration and associate involvement where appropriate.
* Establishes realistic goals and programs for attaining results for departments and supervisors in managed business section.
* Develop and implement plans to provide continuous process improvement in key areas.
* Establish an environment conducive to high levels of morale, associate satisfaction, and performance.
* Be highly visible to associates and create an environment for employee participation and engagement which promotes supervisor performance and accountability.
* Promote active/hands-on management to solve problems and promote high involvement approaches to problem solving. Drive accountability into the organization through standard work while using the Andersen management system.
* Mentor developing managers and supervisors by providing coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to associates and managers to promote the growth and development of the value stream teams.
* Maintain good employee relations in managed business section by seeing that policies and procedures are understood and applied in a fair and uniform manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Bachelor’s degree or greater in a related field
* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operation
* 2+ years of experience managing teams of manufacturing associates
* Proven track record of leading teams and driving strong and consistent business results
* Demonstrated knowledge of world-class (Safety, Quality, Manufacturing Processes, KPI/OKR)
* Bias for action, strong ability to inspire others to create energy
* Able to develop and maintain a respectful and safe work environment
* Skilled in facilitation and conflict management
* Strong coaching and people development skills for all levels within value stream

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.

Pay: $95,765.00 - $148,435.00 per year
