Available Job Today Join Data Science at EUROAPI and work with a team of three on crucial process improvement projects for industrial operations. You will ensure we are one step ahead in the race for innovation and leading the way in developing active pharmaceutical ingredients sustainably across Europe and beyond.
You will:
- Take accountability for supporting process improvement projects, this will include business case development, diagnostics, managing stakeholders across the sites or function and evaluating the data to identify opportunities to improve yield, sustainability and profitability.
- Act as Data Engineer, Data Analyst and Data Scientist dependent on the stage of the project. Your team is the centre of excellence for Data Science at EUROAPI so your flexibility to work on and support a range of projects as we develop, is essential.
- Lead on the use of multivariate data analysis, statistical and software packages for predictive modelling of production processes.
- Actively participate in the project team meetings for each program under investigation.
- Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive records of work performed and produce reports in line with regulatory requirements, corporate policies and governance.
- Work with project teams and other departments in the UK and Europe including EHS, QA and Production to achieve the best outcomes.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements
Degree in Engineering and a higher level qualification or equivalent industry experience in Data Science.
Demonstrated abilities in R or Python.
Skills in statistical data analysis and multivariate data analysis.
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or chemicals industry.
