HSE Supervisor Site based. £32,000 - £35,000 I am currently recruiting for a Health and safety Supervisor with EPC experience for a permanent position in the UK to join my Client's construction team. The Health and safety supervisor will work closely with the project engineers and the HSE Site Manager within my Client's team to manage the on-site operations during the construction period ensuring on schedule completion and compliance with HSE Regs, as well as externally with the; construction subcontractors, site visitors, local authorities, local residents and landowners.What are we looking for?
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or industry recognized equivalent.
- Experience as a H&S professional in construction (CDM), electrical, or related technical environment
- Interest in the renewables sector
- IT skills (MS office)
- Driving License
- Technical member of IOSH (Desirable)
What will you be doing?
- HSE audit and inspection reports
- Conduct accident/incident investigation and produce detailed report showing key findings, root cause and conclusions/recommendations.
- Preparation of HSE reports both internally and for our clients whenever necessary
- Provision of HSE support and advice to the EPC team
- Completion of HSE audits and inspections on sites
- Analysis of audit findings and working closely with site teams to effectively close out nonconformity's
- Assist in drafting and reviewing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Encourage an open and positive safety culture.
- Support the workforce to reduce H&S risks.
- Identify training needs and competency requirements.
