Process Analyst

We have a great opportunity for a Process Analyst to join us on a 12- month, fixed-term contract. This a full-time role, which can be undertaken on a hybrid working pattern from our site in Inverness. We will also consider applications from candidates in the UK who would like to work remotely.
What YOU will do here at LifeScan:
Working in our Customer Quality team, you'll be using new and existing Quality data to drive forward process improvements and efficiencies across the business, and identify Data Quality risks and issues.
As an example, you might identify opportunities to automate a manual task, or a process change that would mitigate a cost or risk.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with other technical and business leads, including stakeholders in IT, Quality, Complaint Handling and Customer Care, to propose and deliver solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Defining and prioritising opportunities and ensuring the advancement of, analytical techniques, and theory towards practical solutions
- Leading/delivering assignments and projects of moderate to high complexity, following company development methodology and business processes
- Establishing and maintaining data governance to ensure data integrity in LifeScan's complaint data and analysis
- Participating in strategic planning, business planning, and business analysis, needs analysis, and business risk assessment
- Providing informatics and analytical support
- Fostering best practices, quality, and process efficiencies
- Adhering to compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, providing documentation as necessary, and participating in compliance activities as required
About YOU:
In order to be successful in this role, you'll be a problem-solver with a strong background in analysing Quality data. You'll ideally have a degree in a Data, Scientific, or Engineering discipline, but a strong combination of education and experience is also fine too!
Together with:
- Strong research skills
- Good technical report writing skills
- Process mapping/modelling experience
- An understanding of validation methodology
- Good communication skills; able to adapt your approach to different audiences
- An ability to work independently, but also be comfortable contributing to team and project work when required
- A good awareness of Quality processes and procedures
It would be nice if you had but not essential:
- Experience in computer programming languages, e.g. Python, MATLAB, SPSS, SQL
- Data handling and visualisation using Tableau or Salesforce Analytics
- Project management experience
