Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Mental Health Nurses/Occupational Therapist/Autism practitioners who are passionate about rehabilitating our customers and clients within the probation sector, who want to achieve their goals and maximize their independence with our innovative, evidence-based, work-focused health services and programs.
Duties will include:
- Telephone and Telehealth based work.
- 1 - 1 Initial Assessments with face to face clients within West Midlands
- Video and Digital delivery of health services.
- Small group delivery.
- Travelling between appointments
The primary focus of the role is client outcomes, with an expectation that the clinician will work with clients from all walks of life, with a broad range of abilities, from the age of 18 years old and above and often very vulnerable with complex needs. The role will be focused on working with clients from the Prison and Probation sector, often with specific neurodivergent features.
The clinician will have the ability to work via digital video, over the telephone and face to face. Client contact is estimated at roughly 90% of the working week, amounting to approximately 60% field and 40% remote work from home. The area covered is as follows:
· Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford
· Dudley and Sandwell
· Worcestershire
· Birmingham South and Central
· Birmingham North, East and Solihull, Staffordshire and Stoke
· Coventry
· Warwickshire
Qualifications & Preferred Criteria
You will be a confident communicator, well presented and able to hit the ground running. Essential requirements include:
· Degree/equivalent in Counselling / Psychotherapy / Nursing /Clinical Psychology Level 4 and above
· Current BACP / NMC / UKCP registration or equivalent registration.
· At least 2 years’ experience as a Health Professional in a clinical setting.
· Unrestricted UK Drivers License and access to own vehicle.
· Eligibility to work in the UK (unrestricted).
· Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
· Able to lone work & remote/ as part of a team.
· Home working facilities.
· Awareness/practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care.
· Enhanced criminal record bureau check (Disclosure & Barring Check) - Working with vulnerable adults, youth and children.
