Key responsibilities
The role purpose is to help to drive the digital analytics agenda through actionable insights. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement, leveraging an extensive toolset to build out actionable insights and reporting, helping to increase the understanding and use of digital analytics both within your team and across multiple functions
As an Analytics Business Partner, you will develop collaborative relationships with Digital Trading Managers, understanding the key challenges within their commercial categories, and supporting growth through actionable insight. You will lead on the execution of analytical reviews to assess the performance, impact and learnings from digital promotional activities. Confidently present results and insights to senior stakeholders.
You will interpret data, analyse results, and provide ongoing reports and work with key stakeholders to help facilitate data driven decision making for all digital activities, including digital marketing analytics, trading optimisation and web development. You will ensure a persistent focus on the customer; proactively displaying omni channel thinking and behaviours to drive a continuously improved customer centric experience and leverage on-site/off-site behavioural and demographic data
You will develop a strong understanding of business processes, systems and data structure, ensuring that analysis is built on the most relevant range of data points as applicable and help to define and develop website tagging requirements and recommendations
Required skills & experience
- Experience in an Ecommerce business increasing understanding and use of digital analytics
- Highly proficient in the use of SQL to extract data from relational data management systems
- Competent user of Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel and behavioural analytics tools, such as Contentsquare. Power BI experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the analytical tools and technologies landscape
- A deep passion for the customer and knowledge of the importance of the digital experience
- A proven ability to make data driven decisions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Confident, personable, with a strong team ethic
