We have an opportunity for a Warehouse assistant to join our team in Liverpool.
You will be reporting to the logistics manager.
This is a full-time position.
This role is suited to well organised individuals with warehousing experience. Accuracy is incredibly important and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and cope with high workloads is vital. A background in pro audio / music is an advantage.
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receiving deliveries of goods and supplies
- Checking of incoming goods for damaged or missing items
- Communicating with suppliers should problems occur
- Safe and secure storage of stock in appropriate areas
- Picking and packing of all Sales orders for shipping via approved couriers
- Maintaining stock records
- Communicating with all departments concerning receipt or shipment of their goods
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and appropriately managed for safe storage of goods
- Obtaining shipping quotes
- Occasionally driving a LWB van to deliver /collect goods
Skills & Experience
- An interest in music / audio is desirable
- Warehousing experience required
- Experience of bar-coding & bin locations
- Experience of dispatch software
- PC Literate
- Our systems are computerised and specific training will be given, but knowledge / understanding of computers and the internet is required.
- An eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Quick learner
- Team player
- Aspects of the job are physical and involves lifting
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary: Negotiable
