We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Rented Sector Manager to join Derby Homes Housing Options service.
You will manage a team of staff working to increase housing supply in Derby. Our role is to prevent homelessness and make it easier for people living in the city to secure and sustain good quality, well managed affordable private rented housing.
Working proactively with property owners, developers, partners and customers you will have the opportunity to influence service development and create innovative solutions to increase the number of homes accessible to those in housing need.
Are you:
- Driven and committed to providing excellent customer service?
- Able to motivate and lead a team?
- Able to work well under pressure and make clear, consistent decisions?
You will have;
- Excellent persuasion, negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of housing legislation.
- Experience of residential lettings in the private rented sector.
- An understanding of the current challenges in the housing sector.
