JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for confident and composed private investigators to join our fast-growing company as we build our team. The employment will be on a part time, self-employed basis.
The role itself will involve planning and conducting investigations.
We are looking for individuals who have experience in any of these areas: private surveillance, commercial surveillance, tracker deployment, asset tracing and online investigations.
Experience in any of the following areas will be beneficial but not essential:
- Both foot and mobile surveillance
- Asset tracing
- Report writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer Literacy Skills
- Full UK Manual Driving License
- Planning Surveillance Operations
- Conducting Surveillance
- Preparing Surveillance Reports (Written, images & video footage)
- Preparing Statements (Witness Statements, Certificates of Service, etc)
- Deployment and retrieval of electronic tracking devices
- Discreet enquiries (Door to Door, Via Telephone, Mystery Shopping)
- Online Investigation work (Social Media, OSINT)
PAY RATES:
- Investigations Hourly Rate: £20.00 per hour (plus travel time and mileage)
- Surveillance Hourly Rate: £15 - £35 (plus travel time and mileage)
- Tracker Deployment Hourly Rate: £20 (plus mileage)
- Tracker Retrieval: - Hourly Rate: £20 (plus mileage)
- Mileage: 25p per mile (after 25 miles has been travelled in any one day)
Essential Requirements:
- Email and computer literate
- Own equipment for gathering still and video evidence if needed
- Own vehicle, suitable for surveillance, modifiable if needed
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Working history
- Willing to work throughout the UK and travel abroad if needed
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK Driving License
Your Cover letter must contain the following information:
- Whether or not you hold a full UK driving License
- Your Vehicle Details
- Your Equipment Details (Eg. Stills Camera, Video Camera, Covert Cameras)
- Most relevant work experience to this role
- Your location within the UK
- How many hours per week are you available to work?
Confidentiality
You will be required to sign our confidentiality agreement and you will need at least 2 relevant referees that we can contact.
