Salary: £45,000 per annum negotiable for the right candidate (Open to self-employed or PAYE candidates)
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Driver/CPO to undertake a position for an HNW individual in Central London. The principal visits the UK every 2 weeks for 6-10 days at a time and requires a driver to be available for him during his stay.
The principal is looking to hire a reliable and responsible driver and private security person to be on hand to drive him (and his fiancé) to and from appointments, meetings, shopping trips and leisure excursions, as well as taking care of any airport pick-ups/drop-offs.
You will need to be an experienced and confident driver with excellent knowledge of Central London streets and surrounding areas, able to navigate traffic and remain calm in all circumstances. It is essential that you have prior experience driving luxury vehicles, and you will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of vehicles, liaising with the car dealership to ensure that all insurances & MOTs are up to date.
Candidates with private security/military/CPO backgrounds will be highly sought after as the principal is ideally looking for someone with both security and driving capabilities. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional and take pride in their work. Candidates must be able to speak English fluently and those who can speak German as well will be highly considered, however, this is not a deal breaker.
Core working hours will be from 7am – 5pm when the principal is in residence. Weekend availability and later nights will occur on occasion so being flexible is a big part of this role. When the principal is not in the country, there will be an opportunity for some downtime. The principal is looking to appoint a well-presented, trustworthy, and loyal candidate. Ideally, candidates would be able to start as soon as possible.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Driving the principal and his financé to various locations in Central London
· Airport runs
· Ad-hoc security duties
· Maintaining the vehicles and liaising with the dealership to ensure MOTs, services, and insurances are up to date
· Running errands
· Ad-hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Valid UK driving license
· Confident driver who is accustomed to city driving
· CPO/Military/Private Security experience (preferred but not essential)
· Flexible approach and ‘can-do’ attitude
· Professional and boundaried
· Discreet and loyal
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· Excellent English and communication skills
· German Speaker (preferred but not essential)
· Brilliant checkable references
