Private Client Fitter

Reporting to the In House Production Manager, we are looking for a Private Client Fitter with excellent technical sewing skills to deliver quality alterations for our private clients. This role will be based across both our London Showroom and Atelier, working closely with our private sales manager and development team to create a unique and personal shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Attending customer appointments with the client manager to provide expert garment knowledge and suggest necessary changes to garments
- Deliver quality work as per clients requirements and according to Safiyaa quality standards.
- Carry out accurate measurements and advise on feasibility of design/construction changes required by the client.
- Clearly document all alternation changes completed on client garments. Communicate these details with dates to the pattern cutters to keep accurate records on client’s profiles (Shopify and/or on other agreed platforms) to assist future orders.
- After fittings carry out the physical alterations on garments in a timely manner with the support of production coordinator and production manager.
- Support team wider team at Atelier when needed to ensure efficient garment production.
- Record all details regarding alterations made to clients patterns with 2D&3D integration team and respective pattern cutter.
- Deliver excellent customer service and professionalism during private fittings.
- Have a flexible approach to fitting schedules when required from private clients.
Requirements:
- Experience working with high-end luxury garments
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess strong technical sewing ability
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player, with hands on work ethic.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
