Job description
We are looking for a private chef to work full time (roughly 32 - 40 hours a week). The role is based just outside of Belfast on a gorgeous organic dairy farm. The role is available as a LIVE IN or live out position depending on preference and proximity.
You will be cooking for a really lovely family of 5, with the children ranging in age from 6-9 months. The family are looking to eat a nutritious and healing diet.
You will be working in a beautiful setting. The farm runs a biodigester business, creating alternative fuel and working with wind turbines. They are soon to open a cafe onsite serving nose-to-tail animal foods, as well as use the farm to create a space that people can stay in, so if interested there may be the option of cooking for a larger number of people on occasion.
This is a one-off, incredible opportunity to work in a gorgeous rural setting, not far from Belfast, alongside an inspiring family and team.
You will be providing with training from our Nutritional Therapists and Head chef. Following this you will create your own menus based on nutritionally dense ingredients. You will be expected to purchase and cook with pasture-raised, organic, and wild ingredients.
We are looking for a chef who is either trained or has experience and a strong passion for nutrition. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile.
(You must have your own car and be able to drive in Northern Ireland)
