This role would be ideally suited to somebody that has a basic understanding of Photoshop/Adobe Suite.

We typically operate between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with weekends, evening and the period between Christmas and New Year off!

You will be provided with one to one support and training.

You will be given all of the appropriate tools to do your job well.

You will be part of a team where your contribution is valued.

This is a permanent, long term role suited to someone with a positive mindset.

The role of Print Production Operative will be based in our large format print and production unit, working on our large format printers and our cutting machinery. The role will include both running of the machines and finishing to help facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day print and finishing outputs.

Skills and experience

  • Proven operative/machine experience
  • Finishing large format print products
  • Basic artworking skills
  • Accurately interpreting work orders
  • Packaging of jobs
  • Reporting to the senior production operative for the day-to-day workload
  • Ensuring customers work goes out on time and correctly
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with other departments within the company
  • Keep the area clean and tidy at all times
  • Exceptional eye for detail and quality control
  • Flexible work attitude
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Strives to continually improve all areas of the company
  • Full driving licence advantageous

Requirements

Must be competent with computers and technology in general

  • Must be punctual and able to multi task

Package

  • Salary £20,000 to £23,000 pa. Full-time working 37.5 hours per week between 9.00am – 5:00pm with 30 minutes lunch break
