Job description
We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to support our global communications strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values. You will work closely with the Internal Communications team to execute initiatives that drive employee engagement and help shape a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and transparency. You will be responsible for creating impactful content and experiences that engage, connect, and inspire. The ideal candidate will be a strong and creative storyteller who can craft compelling messaging for a variety of audiences and channels. This role will also work cross-departmentally to ensure UltiMaker's globally distributed teams are aligned and informed of the company's visions, goals, projects, and updates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help plan and execute internal communications strategies that align with company's goals, brand identity, and messaging
- Produce engaging and impactful employee content and internal messaging for various audiences and channels, including newsletters, videos, email announcements, blogs, surveys, and presentations
- Manage an editorial calendar to ensure internal communications is timely and relevant
- Identify opportunities that reach and engage employees and foster a positive, healthy company culture
- Work with Internal Communications team to coordinate town halls, internal events, and other initiatives that promote employee engagement
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and implement continuous improvement based on feedback and data analysis
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:
- BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
- 2+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
- High-quality writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a variety of engaging internal content, including blogs, newsletters, presentations, and videos
- Ability to develop working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team or autonomously
- Basic knowledge of design and content management tools
Preferred:
- Experience in integrated, strategic communications in global organizations or organizations with a distributed workforce
