Job description
You've got a great eye for detail and you know your way around a manufacturing/production (ideally print/packaging) busy environment. You know that everything you do is time sensitive and has such an integral part of this very clinical production facility.
You'll be working on the printers, working with the shift manager to review the next and pending jobs, ensure that the printers are set up correctly, and the substrates and materials are primed and ready to go.
Teamwork is huge in this, the ability to listen, and communicate is absolutely fundamental. If you have these (and can demonstrate) then we would be more than willing/happy to take someone from outside of the industry. You'll be surrounded by people who know their stuff so you're in good company and if you have the desire to develop and desire to learn then this is a great place to do it. The GM did that 8 years ago and now they are running the show.
The role is manual, it's putting materials and substrates into the printers ready to print the labels that are recognised globally. You've got to be comfortable with rolling your sleeves up and graft.
You're rewarded with above industry levels of salary, holiday and other benefits and package perks. You're joining a place that wants you to progress, so if that is important for you in considering your next home, then be rest assured there are 100% options to progress.
Please note, this is SHIFT WORK. You must be able to get into the plant early, in the afternoon and nights. You'll work a weekly rotation
If all the above is ticking your boxes, please do get your details across and we can schedule an informal initial discussion.
