As a Principal Product Manager at Travelnest, you'd play a crucial role in shaping the future of our holiday rental management software. You will be responsible for driving the development and evolution of our product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritise, and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Salary range: £80,000 - £100,000 plus benefits
Your responsibilities would include
- Product Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with the company's vision and goals. Continuously evaluating market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Taking a leadership role within the product management function, guiding and mentoring other product managers. Helping level up the entire team by sharing best practices, introducing new methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with executive leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product enhancements. Effectively communicating product plans, status updates, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
- User-Centric Approach: Ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and workflows to drive user-centered product development. This will require conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analysing data to inform product decisions and iterate on existing features.
- Agile Methodology: Championing agile product development practices within the company. Collaborating with teams to define user stories, prioritise product backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Staying up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Conducting competitive analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation and market expansion.
What we’d like to see from you

- Over 5 years of demonstrable product management experience in a technology-driven company, preferably in the SaaS or travel industry.
- A track record of successfully launching and managing innovative software products from conception to delivery.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- An analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Experience with growth hacking techniques and driving user acquisition strategies.
