Primary Teacher
OneSchool Global UK – Newry Campus
Hours: Full time, Fixed term 1 year post
Salary: Up to £40,083 per annum
Dependent upon experience

We have a fantastic opportunity at our Newry Campus for an enthusiastic and interactive Primary Teacher on a full time, permanent basis. You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of care, learning and achievement for all pupils
- Work alongside teaching colleagues, under the direction of the KS2 Lead and Campus Principal, as a lead mentor and coach, ensuring the best possible progress for all children
- To plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, notwithstanding differences of race and gender, and taking account of the needs of pupils who are under achieving or very able
- To plan effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SENDCO, prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual Educational Plans
- To assess, record and monitor each pupil’s progress in line with the National Framework profile and report to parents
- To use teaching strategies that keep pupils engaged through effective questioning, lively presentation and good use of resources
- To create a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports learning and which pupils feel secure and confident
You will:
- Have an up to date knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and assessment framework and experience of teaching KS2
- Have experience of supporting students with SEND.
- Have Qualified Teacher Status / PGCE in Primary Education
- Have GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths and Level 3 Qualifications
- Have good communication skills written and verbal.
- Ensure high standards are maintained, progressed and promoted in all areas of work.
- To set an example of positive personal integrity and professionalism, with positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships at all levels
- Contribute to, share in and promote the wider and longer-term vision of OneSchool Global
- Uphold and promulgate the OSGUK ethos within all areas of responsibility
