Main purpose of job:
To be a role model that will inspire and empower children to lead a healthy and physically active lifestyle through creating and delivering outstanding sports lessons that are engaging and promote learning. Within this role you will also be responsible for the direct management and organisation of sessions you are assigned and will drive company objectives at the same time as being an advocate for the company and its values – consistently championing the company vision and driving standards.

The Role:
37.5 hours a week
Main tasks of job:
1) Plan and implement appropriate programmes of activities for the children.
2) Assist in ensuring all teaching plans are completed
3) Independently manage your workload and diaries and also be responsible for the management venues and sessions of which they are assigned
4) Communicate effectively and professionally to senior leaders and management on a daily basis
5) Communicate effectively with all designated schools as an advocate for PREMIER EDUCATION and their values
6) Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times following company policy and child protection guidelines
7) Able to produce accurate participant judgment’s, feedback and reports on individual achievements and progress such as child assessment and progress data
8) Responsibility to maintain a positive, supportive, safe and clean teaching environment
9) Attend all relevant school and team meetings as required
10) Assist in identifying any potential issues and ensure action is taken in line with school and Premier-education policies
11) Oversee the safety of all children, monitor and supervise participants and administer first aid in the event of illness or injury as necessary
12) Warn children of unsafe activities and explain our rules, policies, regulations and procedures to children and enforce them when required
13) Evaluate venue conditions to identify any potential risks or hazards and take appropriate action
14) Inspect equipment and facilities to make sure it is safe to use and in good working order
15) Maintain suitable records and reports and ensure information remains confidential as required
16) Ensure that all procedures, regulations and policies are implemented and followed at all times
17) Ensure all record keeping on the child’s development is in-line with the School and Premier-Education policies and procedures, and to respect the confidentiality of any information received
18) Liaising with parents and encouraging their involvement in all aspects of their child’s/children’s care
19) Build positive relationships with parents and school staff
20) Undertake all necessary training
