Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent- multiple roles available
Start Date: September 2023
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality lessons and activities.
- Assist students with their learning, providing one-on-one or small group support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
- Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly space for learning.
- Provide additional support to children with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
- Encourage the development of social and emotional skills through effective communication and relationship building.
Requirements:
- Previous work experience with children, ideally within an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Basic knowledge of educational strategies and techniques.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16-35 per week
Salary: £385.00-£450.00 per week
