Are you looking for your first role as a qualified teacher? Canary Wharf College has an exciting opportunity for a Primary Early Career Teacher to join the Trust in September.
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic professional who is committed to the highest standard of education, to join this highly effective and driven Trust. We are able to provide experienced and skilled staff to mentor and provide high-quality support to ECT’s during the induction programme.

We are based in a quiet setting in the heart of the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets, yet close to Mudchute, Island Gardens and Crossharbour DLR stations and central London. The school works long days, balanced by shorter terms.
Areas of Responsibility
The key responsibilities of the role will be to:
- Keep pupils safe and provide an environment of high expectations to support exceptional behaviour.
- Teach a knowledge-rich curriculum where pupils make excellent progress and are passionate about learning.
- Ensure reading is prioritised to ensure all pupils master basic skills.
- Engage in continual training and development to become a master of your craft.
- Assess pupils knowledge, and provide feedback and interventions gill gaps to secure learning and catch-up.
