We are on the lookout for a Pricing Analyst to undertake pricing, pricing development and monitoring activities in support of the pricing of AA Motor and Home Insurance.

The overall aim will be optimising acquisition and retention of AA business, providing support required to design, build, and maintain robust pricing systems, models, and price test strategies to facilitate delivering high quality pricing analyses in line with market best practice.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop new models using both traditional and newer techniques. The models include, but are not limited to, retention, acquisition, and customer behaviour prediction
  • Work with the Pricing Manager and fellow analysts to develop analysis, insight, and MI to profitably grow insurer portfolios
  • Monitor model performance using statistical and non-statistical methods to help objectively recommend the optimal time to refresh or rebuild
  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies that increase value by optimising acquisition and retention of AA Insurance business
  • Undertake modelling and analysis which support marketing activities and acquisition strategies

What do I need?

  • An understanding of financial and consumer modelling within General Insurance
  • Analytical experience gained in a data rich Financial Services environment with experience of analytical tools
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner
  • Understanding of lifetime value, customer relationship management and segmentation strategies
  • Ability to develop and implement change
