Job description
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain Event Requirements from service providers and deliver through to partners and promotors
- Forecast all event costs and input into relevant budgets
- Create Purchase Orders, reconcile invoices and work alongside Finance to maintain live operations budgets
- Ensure internal schedules are maintained and communicated with relevant technology teams
- Oversee the provision of suppliers provided on-course during key tournaments throughout R&D and into live service operations
- Responsible for maintaining testing and technical specification databases
- Ensure Service Levels are maintained and detailed reports produced post event
- Work closely with third-party service providers and partners
- Oversee the implementation of new technology solutions and ensure these meet IMG Arena requirements on live operations
- Maintain strong working relationships with the product and technology teams, as well as our sports federation partners
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, industry standards and operational guidelines
- A strong passion for sport
- Experience of managing suppliers at live sporting events is preferable
- Previous experience in both the media and gaming industries would be advantageous
- Extensive experience in delivering projects to set deadlines, preferably within or with links to the sports industry.
- This role requires a highly organised person, with the ability to collaborate on new product idea generation through to managing live event implementation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fun and challenging environment, defined by an intense focus on innovation
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven experience of building relationships, with the ability to adapt his / her style to the situation;
- Ability to draft clear, fluent, grammatically accurate and concise written correspondence;
- Able to juggle and prioritise a varied workload, often working to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment;
- Ensure that minimal disruption is caused to partners, players and stakeholders’ onsite at tournaments and that vendors operate diligently to achieve our lofty goals and maintain adequate representation for IMG Arena.
- A competent user of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel and Database Management;
- Ability to work in an ambiguous/ fluid business context comfortably
- This is a permanent/fixed term position.
- Please note, remote working set up until lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Thereafter, the role would be based at Chiswick Park
- Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
- Occasional travel and weekend work may be required
- May be required to work outside of contractual hours at times
- Some national and international travel required.
