About the Role
Base Location: Cardiff, Reading and Perth
Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
As the Pricing Support Analyst, you will assist flexible contract customers with a diverse range of queries and support in the contract trading and management portal ‘Foresight’ and will help Business Energy evolve its commodity hedging strategy. Your responsibilities of the role will include:
- Management of related mailboxes, responding to customer queries and management of the Foresight portal.
- Ensure data is accurately maintained within the Foresight portal, this includes customer contracts, contact details, trade capacities and outturn prices.
- Ownership of all daily and monthly market reporting provided to the customer, you will work with the Sales team to improve outputs to meet our customer requirements and expectations.
- Manage the relationship with the vendor and ensure requirements are met and issues resolved.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the UK Energy Markets.
- Ability to articulate complex market narrative in a clear deconstructed manner.
- Previous experience within an energy trading or commercial environment would be advantageous.
- Understanding of the full end to end Sales process and a familiarity with internal hedging mechanisms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to various levels of stakeholder.
