This role will be responsible for generating strong, consistent press coverage across print, broadcast and online media.

This role will be supporting both consumer and corporate communications

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Work with buying teams to fulfil call ins and provide overall support to the Press Team
  • Support both consumer and corporate PR
  • Work closely with our Press Assistant to carry out and oversee all day-today press office functions, including regular organic influencer gifting.
  • Manage the Press Office inbox
  • Comp magazines for target media and provide weekly analysis to rest of the team
  • Monitor results of broadcast coverage using Adobe tracking software and report figures to wider business in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior fashion assistants, junior editors and stylists securing regular facetime via breakfasts, lunches etc
  • Sell in news stories and new collections to target media
  • Organise and oversee small scale press dinners, trips and events and closely assist and support PR Manager on larger scale PR Events
  • Manage all regional PR activity including store openings, working closely with the Local Marketing Manager and Social Team.
  • Work on specific projects each season – from idea stage through to implementation
  • Maintain strong, consistent press coverage for New Look on target media

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent people skills, computer literature, excellent time management.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and tasks
  • Good telephone manner and exemplary organisational skills
  • 2-3 years experience in a fashion PR role
  • Strong media and influencer contacts
  • University degree
  • Proven contacts within industry

Minimum level of education or qualifications - Bachelor-level degree (ideally in the fields of brand, marketing, media or digital)

  • Retail experience a plus

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in PR

  • Proven understanding of the omnichannel marketing mix
  • Insight driven and commercially aware
  • Strong visual and verbal communication
