Press Office Apprentice based at Holiday House in Leeds.

Jet2.com & Jet2holidays have an outstanding opportunity to start your career in PR/media relations as a Press Office Apprentice.

Working in a busy Press Office, our Press Office Apprentice will be supported through an 18-month apprenticeship scheme to learn how to protect and promote our external reputation with the media.

What will you do in the role?

The Press Office Apprentice will contribute to how we shape and deliver our position across national, regional, trade, and broadcast media in both reactive and proactive circumstances.

Through a combination of on-the-job training and workshop learning, you will receive extensive training across Public Relations and Media Relations, including:

• Current affairs, PR and the media.
• Media hospitality including press trips and press flights
• Writing for publication including press releases and statements.
• Building and executing campaigns / events.
• Communications planning.
• Issues & crisis management.
• Media relations, media liaison.
• Agency management.

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

The Press Office Apprentice must achieve level 4 English and Maths by the time they start.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a formal qualification by achieving a Level 4 Public Relations and Communications Assistant.
