Job Title: Press & Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Creative Director & Marketing Director
Liaison with: Ecommerce, Retail, Merchandising, Marketing & Finance
Location: Bath Head Office Tuesday to Thursday / WFH Monday & Friday
Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 to 1800

Job Purpose
This dual role is responsible for developing and implementing G&G’s PR and media strategy and building our reputation using effective media coverage, along with taking our marketing vision and steering the team to action all activity on time and on budget. Creating memorable moments that bring G&G's adventurous and family-run story to life. alongside an inspiring calendar of partnerships and events, you’ll position Graham and Green as leaders in the interiors industry.
PR
- Develop the PR strategy in line with brand plans and sales activities.
- Nurture relationships with key journalists and influencers.
- Grow and update the press contact list.
- Curate and distribute regular trend-led press releases.
- Own the press image library, captioning images and organising high res lifestyle and cut out imagery.
- Coordinate expert quotes and respond to interview requests.
- Monitor and report on press coverage.
- Manage the press loan process, liaising with the warehouse and Bayswater store.
- Organise regular press visits.
- Collaborate with influencers, harnessing their outreach to grow brand awareness.
Marketing
- Assist in developing the brand vision and marketing strategy in line with the directors’ vision.
- Plan the marketing calendar, ensuring relevant, engaging and on-trend content to hit sales targets.
- Manage marketing budget lines, ensuring effective use of spend to maximise returns.
- Own the advertising calendar, negotiating competitive prices and briefing assets.
- Develop media partnerships and digital campaigns relevant for the brand.
- Work closely with members of the Marketing team to create content across all marketing channels to drive brand and revenue.
- Brief our Graphic Designers to help deliver joyful, vibrant and spirited content that is on brand and aligned with our campaign strategies.
- Be the point of contact for all marketing enquiries within the business, delivering insightful marketing reports and sharing campaign updates.
- Collaborate with like-minded brands to grow awareness and our database.
- Work with the Retail & Trade Operations Manager to develop a calendar of inspiring in-store events to drive footfall.
- Assist on in-house shoots.
- Promote and support with any trade show appearances.
Experience
- PR and marketing experience in homewares essential
- Established relationships with homeware journalists, stylists, etc. essential
- Strong computer literacy using MS Office skills including intermediate level MS Excel
- Good commercial awareness
- Experience in having budget responsibility
- Holds a relevant educational qualification
- Experience of working within B2C Ecommerce

- An excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Good communicator and diligent reporter
- Love for Interiors essential
