With deep roots in music, art, architecture and what is contemporary, Axel Arigato has defined itself by offering more than a product. It has been created to leave an experience at the front of mind, whether it’s via stores, online or through events. Axel Arigato currently has 8 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

PRESS ASSISTANT

We are looking for a passionate and hard-working Press Assistant to join us at Axel Arigato. The role is based at our London HQ. Since this role is handling product and demands collaboration, it is a full time on-site (in office) role at this time.

THE ROLE & TEAM

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a passionate, growing and fast-paced fashion PR team and contribute to the continued success of Axel Arigato’s presence within press and media. The PR Assistant will be primarily responsible for maximizing brand visibility through securing editorials and product placements both digitally and in print via seasonal press sample management. The role will support the wider communications team with ad hoc press outreach and maintaining press tools and platforms. As someone who supports external communication on behalf of Axel Arigato, the PR assistant must be an ambassador at all times and embody the brand values.

• Oversee the flow of daily sample sends outs, alongside press and wholesale sample requests.
• Liaise between Paris, Germany and other key markets on press and wholesale sample requests.
• Support with pitching news and drop of the week product to key UK titles for online and print features.

• Maintain the global press database & VOCAST platform, ensuring it is updated and organized regularly to reflect industry team changes.
• Prepare monthly PR reports and distribute to the wider teams to ensure they are aware of press achievements.
• Support with internal comms; work with wider team on managing internal content uploads and meeting support.
• Own, project manage, maintain, and upkeep of a sample inventory tracker (e.g. Launchmetrics).
• Oversee the press office storage spaces with appropriate samples and ensure all press samples are kept in immaculate condition and dry cleaned after shoots where necessary.
• Support on VIP/influencer dressing and gifting including fittings, appointments and store pulls.
• Responsible for monitoring and collating relevant industry and key competitors’ news and distributing to wider team.
• Responsible for gifting orders via online platform.
• Assist the team on production and execution of all brand events including but not limited to Press Days, in store events and offsite sponsorships and partnerships.

• Brings strong understanding and knowledge of the industry and media landscape.
• Previous experience within a fashion PR agency or in-house press office.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and work in a busy and fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Launchmetrics and Microsoft Office.
• Able to effectively communicate with different team members across the business.
• Creative and with a can-do attitude.
• Good attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team.
