Pre-Registration (International) Mental Health Nurses
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Band 5 £30,229 - £37,664 (commencing Band 4 £30,019)

NHS Grampian is seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses from outside of the United Kingdom.
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals who would like join NHS Grampian on a permanent contract. We are committed to assisting you to achieve your UK NMC registration through our OSCE practice education programme.
You are required to have successfully undertaken test of competency part 1 (CBT) and meet the English language requirements (required of your NMC application) prior to your application. You must also be educated to degree level in Nursing, with 2 years of post-graduation experience solely in a Mental Health role.

As part of this exciting opportunity we will support you through a fully funded in-house, highly successful, person-centred education programme to prepare for your Test of Competence Part 2 (OSCE) exam and obtain your full UK NMC registration. NHS Grampian currently hold a 100% pass rate for candidates undertaking their NMC Test of Competence.
We have a strong commitment to provide support for Mental Health nurses utilising a structured development programme and preceptorship. The aim of this programme is to provide a broad base of experience with post graduate development opportunities across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. This structured progression route provides the opportunity to consolidate your learning and develop knowledge, skills and competence in a supportive environment. All Pre-Registration International Mental Health Nurses will be supported to complete Flying Start NHS in their first year.

Experience and preferences will be considered however clinical placement will be based upon current vacancies.
Successful candidates will commence as a Band 4 Pre-Registration Mental Health Nurse before progressing to Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse.
