Dominus Group, the London-based property developer and investment group, is looking for a pre-opening FB Duty Manager to join their new site, Hampton by Hilton London City, in the historic Aldgate.
Responding to strong demand for the Hampton by Hilton brand in London, the hotel is planned to open in May 2023 through a partnership with Dominus Group and under the management of Madison Cairn. The hotel is a stone’s throw from Old Spitalfields Market, sandwiched between Shoreditch and the City, London's historic business district. Plans will revitalise the 1960s building with features that complement the surrounding historic architecture.
The property is opening with 129 guestrooms in May 2023, building to 278 guestrooms in 2024.

About the role
You will ensure that the FB department, including the FB and kitchen teams, is set up successfully for the opening of the hotel, including procedures, health and safety, most importantly build your own team and provide sufficient training.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the food and beverage outlet runs efficiently and that customers are satisfied with the quality of food and the service they receive.You will assume responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen, including staffing, scheduling, food safety and health and safety of the department.
You’ll be a great leader, effectively developing and managing your team and be polite, courteous and professional. Under your leadership, the team will provide a memorable and efficient service at all times to maintain an exceptional standard of service and quality. In this hands on role, you’ll lead the team and venue to success! You'll also ensure compliance with all brand, health, safety, or other requirements.
Additionally you’ll have a key focus on achieving budgeted food and beverage sales, food cost whilst monitoring labour costs and profitability
About you
- Excellent leadership skills with experience of developing and leading a team. You’ll also have experience in a senior role within food and beverage operations
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise and tracking and reviewing feedback to implement long term customer satisfaction solutions
- Strong communication skills through a variety of means
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own time and the time of the team
- Ability to stay calm and work under pressure
