Please see the following details regarding the employment :Job type and occupational code: Chefs (SOC 5434);Job title: Chef (Sous/tandoori chef);Employer: Tandoori Spice Ltd;Work location: Fore Street, Probus, Truro, TR2 4JLExperience: Previous experience as an Indian Restaurant chef ;Salary: Ranging from £26,500 to £30,000 plus seasonal bonus opportunity; Minimum salary guarantee: £26,500.00 Working days / hours: 37.5 to 40 hours within 5/6 days a weekBenefits & Entitlements: Skilled Worker Visa will be provided to stay in UK for long term hires (3 or 5 years) ; 28 days paid holiday, meals on duty and other facilities available.Prospects: Salary review; recognition and reward for outstanding performance and commitmentDuties: Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks, Cooking and preparing high quality dishes, Assisting the Head Chef/Tandoori Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes, supervising all kitchen stations, Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels. Being responsible for health and safety, food hygiene practices, Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created, assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering. Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelinesSkills, experience and qualifications requirements: High level creative skills in preparation of authentic high quality curry dishes.
