Overview
Do you have a genuine passion for improving people’s life by maximising their own and community’s potential? We are looking for an inspiring, confident, and nurturing Practice Supervisor to join our Learning & Well-Being Hub!
At Buckinghamshire Council, we believe that the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) is a crucial part of professional development. We recruit newly qualified social workers in specific campaigns once or twice a year to join our nationally recognised Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme.
We know that good social work practice leads to positive outcomes for our local residents. Our strength-based practice model 'Better Lives' underpins our values and beliefs that building strong relationships with individuals, families, partner agencies and each other is the best way to deliver social work intervention.

About the Business Unit
The Quality, Standards and Performance (QSP) service was established in March 2018. The provision of quality services to the people of Buckinghamshire is central to what we do; we focus on the areas of practice that make a direct and positive impact on the quality of people’s lives.
The QSP service demonstrates the Council’s commitment to ensuring that quality assurance and safeguarding are at the heart of social care practice. Our aim is to embed an ongoing culture of improvement and development that provides us with a foundation for delivering excellence in Buckinghamshire. We ensure that adult social care delivers value for money by changing the way services are delivered, and that the local authority is compliant with the legislation that underpins social care activities.
If you are passionate about delivering a high-quality service to residents and want to make a genuine, positive impact on the community then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
