An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Winsford Community Adult Social Care Team for an enthusiastic and skilled Social Care Practice Manager. The team provide support to older people and adults with physical disabilities within the Winsford area of West Cheshire.

The Social Care Practice Manager will provide essential leadership for the team. You will be classed as a hybrid worker which involves both having the choice to work from home but also in an office space; you will be provided with the right equipment for this. You will be supported through supervision to ensure you are not overloaded and that your wellbeing is fully protected while you work.

Valuing our workers and ensuring they feel well supported is our priority and this is achieved by frequent supervision sessions, peer group support, team meetings, 1:1 discussions, away days, team lunches, training opportunities and Social Care conferences.
Working in partnership with other agencies to achieve the best outcome for our service users is crucial and you will work alongside many professionals including Health, Police, Housing, Occupational Therapists, Physios, GP's, Community Mental Health, Probation, Domestic Violence officers.
Your role will include the supervision of qualified Social Workers and Social Care Assessors. Leadership of an Adult Social Care Community Team and work with partners to promote integration. You will be part of a strong and supportive management Team with access to well-constructed risk management processes and legal advice. You will receive the right training and access to evidence to promote excellent, ethical Social Work Practice.
