WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a strong candidate to join the Practice Area (PA) Offer Team in the cross-PA operation team, and work on a set of high priority topics and initiatives that support the development and orchestration of BCG’s priority offers, GTM excellence and Offer Management chapter. This role involves working closely with the Executive Director of the PA Offer team, Offer Management team, and cross-PA leadership including the Functional Practice Area (FPA) Chair and PA Chief Operating Officer.
Leading the BCG Client Reference Program team
BCG Client Reference program is a key cross-PA initiative and critical engine to support both commercial and external marketing activities. The Director role will consist of leading and coordinating activities supporting the strategy and execution of this program. These activities will range from:
Leading strategy and leadership alignment on goals, scope and other aspects of the program.
Managing a team consisting of a Senior Manager and a Senior Coordinator who are responsible for reference collection, development and sharing. You will be responsible for prioritizing our limited capacity against the highest impact efforts.
Partnering with PAs to grow the reference library both in terms of number of clients and how much we can share publicly about the impact we are making. You will work closely with marketing, offer teams, investment teams, and senior leadership.
For key priority topics (e.g. GenAI), lead identification and management of a pipeline of potential client references. Work directly with CCOs/MDPs to support client conversion. Ensure our client stories are compelling and support the overall narrative and commercial value proposition of BCG priority offers. Work to broadcast and amplify the most impactful reference content in partnership with the Marketing team both internally and externally.
Orchestrate development of tools, resources, and best practices for the reference program.
Collaborate with investment and client team to set expectations on references for clients & ensure compliance with those expectations in return for discounts on work.
Taking the lead or Contributing to Special Projects and Initiatives to support BCG Offers
As a core member of the PA Offer Team you will work on a variety of efforts that ensure best in class Offers and GTM capabilities, at BCG, for example:
Support the development of broad cross-PA Offer (e.g. Gen AI, Costs)
Support Organization of WWOM expo, displaying BCG lates Offers
Deep dive on critical best practices and operating model for the firm: (e.g. understand the operating model, challenges and best practices of joint IPA/FPA/X Go-To-Market teams (squads) and organize best practices sharing across PAs)
Enhancing Offer Management operations (e.g. Performance tracking and market sensing)
Growing and developing the Offer Management function and community
The Offer management community currently consists of over 40 Offer Managers (OMs) supporting a diverse set of topics and offers across all the Functional Practice Areas (e.g. AI at Scale, Manufacturing, Sustainable Operations, Future of Work and eCommerce). OMs lead and coordinate activities that support the strategy, development, marketing, sales and execution of key BCG functional offers. As part of the Offer Team you will work on evolution of this role and community:
You will be one of the orchestrators of this offer management chapter and have indirect line management and coaching responsibilities as well as contribute best practice exchange and cross functional collaboration across the chapter
Foster an engaged community, to enable the understanding of connections between offers, working together on joint offers, supporting each other to grow

- Strong commercial mindset and acumen for different aspects of go to market activities
- Leading and managing complex, matrix global programs with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
- Significant experience working with and effectively influencing senior stakeholders both on the BCG and client slide (e.g., Managing Directors & Partners, CXOs)
- Orchestrate complex agendas, align senior leadership, prioritizing activities, manage projects efficiently
- Passion for building a world class program and desire to own and refine operational processes

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 10-12+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a consulting environment
- Proven ability to lead and develop large and remotely operating international teams
- Demonstrated strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence up, down and across
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and credibility with senior audiences
- High level of integrity, a positive attitude, and an ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
