Practice Administrator/ Receptionist Vacancy

Inclusion Healthcare is seeking to recruit a Practice Receptionist/Administrator to join our existing Administration Team which covers our two Practices, Inclusion & Assist Practice, at Charles Berry House, 45 East Bond Street, Leicester, and our branch premises at The Dawn Centre, Conduit Street, Leicester.

The main objective of this multi-skilled role is to undertake a wide range of administrative duties as well as face to face and telephone interactions with patients and visitors of Inclusion, in our busy administration office and reception areas to assist in the day to day running of the service

The role includes:

  • Answering the telephone quickly and professionally
  • Booking appointments
  • Dealing with Patient queries
  • Ordering prescriptions
  • Dealing with external agencies.
  • Scanning letters and filing them onto SystmOne
  • Registering patients on SystmOne
  • Using templates to enter data on SystmOne
  • Using tasks to relay information to the team

Essential Skills:

  • You will have had previous experience of working within a busy reception/administration environment.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word

Desirable Skills:

  • SystmOne knowledge
  • A good working knowledge of reporting; including medical reports, templates, and rotas
  • Choose and Book
  • Previous experience of working in an NHS setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 34-38 per week

Salary: £21,563.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Working with our Covid19 GP Lead and Infection Control Nurse to keep all of our staff as safe as possible by offering NHS testing, telephone triage all patients before they come to the surgery, installed plastic barriers, masks, gloves and hand sanitisers

Experience:

  • Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
