We are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for a Digital PR Apprentice with an interest in digital PR and social media, and a curiosity for global news and trends.
Role Overview
We are on the hunt for an eager, motivated, and creative individual to join our team as a Digital PR Apprentice. You will play a pivotal role in learning and assisting with the development and implementation of digital PR strategies, boosting brand recognition, and increasing online visibility.
This role is perfect for someone keen to kick-start a career in Digital PR, enthused by content creation, and motivated by driving engagement and results.
You'll learn and contribute to the whole creative process, working alongside the PR and Content team, aiding in idea generation and the outreach of content. You'll gain insights into how digital placements, Domain Authority, SEO rankings and Traffic contribute to measuring performance.
You'll discover what types of content generate buzz and learn the art of securing links.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the generation and development of campaign themes for clients across Retail, B2B, and Marketing sectors.
- Help create captivating ideas and assets for all digital channels (website, social media, email etc.)
- Assist in the formulation and execution of editorial plans and content calendars.
- Learn how to research link prospects and negotiate and confirm placements for content.
- Learn to engage with relevant stakeholders across all digital platforms.
- Support our SEO and Content team in turning ideas into campaign assets.
- Assist in planning and executing events hosted by the agency.
- Learn to find topic-related websites that can feature our campaign content, referencing POLARIS with a biography or backlink.
- Assist in creating event calendars for both POLARIS and its clients.
- Support in identifying speaking opportunities that will help expose POLARIS to specific sectors and audiences.
- Eagerness to learn about digital PR in an agency environment.
- Strong personality with a drive to deliver results.
- A basic understanding of SEO, or willingness to learn.
- Willingness to learn how to use Ahrefs, Majestic, and other backlink evaluation tools.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your time effectively.
- Comfortable communicating, even if it means chasing people down when needed.
- Eagerness to learn the latest techniques in Digital PR and outreach.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofing skills.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and open to learning new media databases and monitoring tools.
5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
Training to be provided
You will undertake the groundbreaking Apprentify PR and Communications Level 4 apprenticeship.
