Vivienne Westwood are looking for a PR and Communications Assistant to join their team in the central London office. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of duties across the Communications department working alongside our Wholesale and Buying team in Central London.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRESS OFFICE MANAGEMENT
Co-ordinate with the Junior Communications Assistant all sample movements, including but not limited to:
- Editorial requests
- VIP requests/placements
- Partner press office daily send outs and long-term season loans
- Internal designer/ production loans
- Press days – both domestic and international support
- International event sample requirements
- Advertising campaign
- Digital campaign shoots
- E-commerce shoots
- Oversee the JCA on Coverage Trackers / Availability chart / Weekly Requests chart.
- Co-ordinate with the showroom team and GPS Assistant the handover of the sample collections from the showroom team to press. Checking in and accounting for all samples in the handover. Making the selection of accessories/bags/jewellery inline with products to push documents. At the end of the season co-ordinate the return of the sample collections to the archive department.
- Responsible for maintaining immaculate presentation of the ready-to-wear and accessory collections in the London comms office and showrooms.
- Responsible for the showroom appointment calendar and preparing rooms for press and external meetings (outside of selling season).
COMMS & VIP
- Assist the comms team with ideas and drafting seasonal hot sheets.
- Check through and clip all UK, USA & ROW print and online press for Vivienne Westwood coverage and credits, including VIP placements.
- Collating monthly, post-event and launch reports including global reports.
- Support the comms team with seasonal runway shows – collating coverage, VIP looks, seating plans & cheat sheets.
- Supporting the SCO’s with daily image and credit requests.
- Supporting the comms team with local retail/off schedule event media, VIP and KOL invitee lists.
- Manage the organisation of seasonal press days.
- Contribute to collection and project strategy decks including research and information collating.
- Assist the VIP team with VIP fittings.
- Assist the VIP team by contributing talent ideas for seasonal seeding lists/projects/collaborations/campaign ideas.
KEY REQUIRMENTS:
- Launchmetrics Fashion GPS experience
- Previous experience in a PR/Comms role is essential
- Microsoft Office literate
