Changan UK R&D Centre (CAUK) was founded by Changan in 2010 to design and develop its next generation powertrains. Based in Birmingham Business Park, we are the pioneers in Changan Global R&D for designing and developing advanced systems including electric drive systems, hybrid powertrain systems, hydrogen fuel cell systems and range extender systems.

A vital part to our future success is our ability to deliver smart software to control our next generation smart powertrains. CAUK has a Powertrain Electrification, Control System & Software Department that is dedicating its effort for this purpose.
